2019 Oklahoma State Parks & Outdoor Guide Available Jan. 1 from Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department

With more than 30 state parks and the most diverse terrain in the nation, Oklahoma is an outdoor lovers’ paradise.

The new 2019 Oklahoma State Parks & Outdoor Guide makes it easier than ever to plan an Oklahoma outdoor vacation. The guide’s amazing photography will have readers ready to pack up their tents and hiking gear and head out to explore the state’s natural beauty. The book’s front and back covers feature a sweeping view of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

Produced by the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department, the guide will be available free beginning Tuesday, Jan. 1. Travelers can order a copy by visiting TravelOK.com/Brochures or calling 800-652-6552. The guides will also be available at Tourism Information Centers, Oklahoma State Parks and numerous tourism attractions around the state.

The book features more than 200 pages of the best the Oklahoma outdoors has to offer. It contains information on each Oklahoma State Park and on places where travelers can find outdoor activities like golf, rock climbing and zip lining. Also included are easy-to-use directories dedicated to activities, camping and cabins/lodging within the state.

The 2019 Outdoor Guide is one of many free guides available from the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department. Others include the 2019 Oklahoma Travel Guide, Discover Oklahoma Destination Dining Guide, the Oklahoma Route 66 Guide and Long Road to Liberty, a guide to Oklahoma’s African American history and culture.
