New Women’s Course Record Set at Lake Murray State Park during State Golf Tournament

Regent Prep’s Roller shoots record-setting 62 en route to tournament victory;Heritage Hall’s Lathrop makes ace on No. 7 hole.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Jenni Roller set a new women’s course record at Lake Murray State Park Golf Course in Ardmore as the course hosted the Class 3A Girls State Tournament on Wednesday, May 4, and Thursday, May 5.

Roller, a student at Tulsa’s Regent Prep High School, shot a 10-under-par 62 on Wednesday, setting a new women’s course record. Roller’s round included eight birdies, an eagle and no bogeys.

Roller’s round was four strokes better than the previous course record of 66 set by Reagan Chaney in 2021.

Roller would go on to win the tournament by shooting a 10-under 134 for the two rounds.

Allie Lathrop, a student at Oklahoma City’s Heritage Hall High School, made a hole-in-one in Thursday’s final round. Lathrop’s ace came on the No. 7 hole, where she used a pitching wedge. The par 3 hole was playing to 100 yards.
