Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department Releases New Dining Guide 

The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department’s new Discover Oklahoma Dining Guide is now available free at TravelOK.com. 

OKLAHOMA CITY — Visitors and locals alike can explore their foodie side by flipping through a brand-new version of the Discover Oklahoma Dining Guide. The guide highlights 381 of the state’s tastiest and most original restaurants, including many featured on “Discover Oklahoma,” the state’s official tourism television show.

Within the Dining Guide’s 96 pages, readers will find dishes classic to Oklahoma, such as barbecue, onion burgers and catfish, alongside an array of world cuisines ranging from Guatemalan to Italian to Vietnamese fare.

The guide’s cover features MAD Eats in Owasso, a modern diner known for its monstrous milkshakes and classic American dishes. The guide is organized into six travel regions: Central, South Central, Southwest, Northwest, Northeast and Southeast.

Copies of the Dining Guide and other Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department publications can be ordered free online at TravelOK.com/Brochures. There are also more than 80 other free brochures from travel destinations around the state available.

“Discover Oklahoma” airs each Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City on KFOR (NBC), in Tulsa on KTUL (ABC), in Lawton on KSWO (ABC) and in the Sherman-Denison area on ABC Texoma.
