New Dining Guide Available from Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department

The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department’s new Discover Oklahoma Destination Dining Guide is now available free at TravelOK.com.

The guide highlights 273 of the state’s tastiest and most original restaurants, including many featured on “Discover Oklahoma,” the state’s official tourism television show.

“Discover Oklahoma” airs each Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Oklahoma City on KFOR (NBC), in Tulsa on KTUL (ABC) and in Lawton on KSWO (ABC). Stories and entire episodes are also available on DiscoverOklahomaTV.com.

Within the Dining Guide’s 80 pages, readers will also find stories on legendary Oklahoma dishes like onion burgers, barbecue and steak.

The guide’s cover features one of the state’s most beloved meals: the chicken-fried steak challenge from Kendall’s Restaurant in Noble.

Copies of the Dining Guide and other Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department publications can be ordered free online at TravelOK.com/Brochures or by calling (800) 652-6552 and pressing 1. There are also more than 80 other free brochures from travel destinations around the state available.

The Dining Guides will also be available at Tourism Information Centers and Oklahoma State Parks around the state.

Most OTRD guides, along with the state map and Oklahoma Agritourism publications, are available in bulk free of charge to businesses and groups that wish to distribute them. Boxes of the guide are available for pickup at the OTRD Literature Distribution Warehouse at 317 NE 31st St., Suite B, in Oklahoma City.
