Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department Seeks Applications for Recreational Trails Program

The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) is now accepting applications for 2024 grant funding through the Recreational Trails Program (RTP).

The RTP is administered through a strategic partnership between OTRD and the Federal Highway Administration. It provides 80/20 matching grants to state park facilities, local governments, and trail user groups for the development and/or renovation of public outdoor recreational trails and trail amenities.

The program is intended to create opportunities to develop and maintain recreational trails throughout the state.

Applications are due by 11.59 p.m. on March 31, 2024.
