2018 Oklahoma Travel Guide, Oklahoma State Parks & Outdoor Guide Available For Bulk Pickup
The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department has two new publications available for distribution in 2018. Boxes of the 2018 Oklahoma Travel Guide and the 2018 Oklahoma State Parks & Outdoor Guide are available for pickup at the OTRD Literature Distribution Warehouse at 317 NE 31st St., Suite B, in Oklahoma City. OTRD asks that the guides not be distributed until Jan. 1, 2018.
The 2018 Oklahoma Travel Guide, titled “Your Big Oklahoma List,” is filled with topical Oklahoma bucket list itineraries for every type of traveler. It contains more than 200 pages of only-in-Oklahoma attractions and stunning photography from some of the state’s most beautiful places. The book also features two-day itineraries for traveling in each region of the state, along with directories of the attractions and accommodations available in each city.
The 2018 Oklahoma State Parks & Recreation Guide features detailed information on each of the Oklahoma State Parks and on outdoor activities available around the state. At the back of the book, readers will find directories for outdoor activities, camping and cabins/lodging in the state.
Individual copies of these guides, along with other OTRD publications, can be ordered free online starting Jan. 1 at TravelOK.com/Brochures or by calling (800) 652-6552. They will also be available at Tourism Information Centers and Oklahoma State Parks around the state.
All OTRD guides, along with the state map and Oklahoma Agritourism publications, are available in bulk free of charge to businesses and groups that wish to distribute them.
Those inside a 45-mile radius of Oklahoma City may visit the OTRD Literature Distribution Warehouse to pick up boxes of guides and brochures. Those outside the metro can stop by the warehouse or contact Fulfillment Coordinator Miki Galloway at (405) 522-9539 or Brochures@TravelOK.com starting Jan. 2 to have boxes of guides shipped to them.
The Department has recently restocked several guides, including the Rhythm and Routes Oklahoma Music Trail Guide, Route 66 Guide and Oklahoma Agritourism guides. The Fall Foliage brochure is also now available in bulk.
Below is a full list of the publications currently available in bulk and the per-box quantity. Available brochures are subject to change throughout the year.
Please note that the Department does not fulfill bulk orders for country guides, city guides or specific attraction brochures. For those, you will need to contact the country association or attraction.
The OTRD warehouse is open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Department encourages those wishing to pick up guides to contact Warehouse Supervisor Gary Knight in advance at (405) 522-2455 to verify availability. The warehouse will be closed Jan. 1.
